The mission statement of the Florida Society of Medical Assistants is to seek the involvement of CMA (AAMA) and other credentialed medical assistants within Florida through active participation and continuing education, and the promotion and protection of the medical assistant’s scope-of-practice through advocacy of patient-centered, compassionate, and superior health care.
The Florida Society of Medical Assistants and its associate Chapters are committed to supporting a positive awareness of medical assisting and the recognition of the FSMA as its representative.
