Description:
Senior Safety educates seniors and caregivers on the types of elder abuse, how to identify the warning signs for each type, and how to reduce risk and prevent elder abuse. The training also provides information on the three most common types of theft—monetary, identity, and home— that afflict seniors and teaches them how to reduce their risk of becoming a victim. Lastly, seniors and caregivers will learn about the specific reasons why seniors do not disclose or report their abuse, and they will be provided community resources that help victims of elder abuse, assault or theft.
