Hannah Jenarine graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration in 2021. For the past 7 years, she has worked in community development serving as a board member for YELD, a nonprofit organization, and a keynote speaker and mentor for high school students. In devoting her time to serving her community, Hannah has written and published a Goal Setting 101 Course, wrote three workbooks centered around personal development, and created a YouTube Channel to promote the importance of self-care and self-awareness. Hannah is dedicated to serving people in need and her mission within the VSC is to inspire and empower people to create a mindset shift that allows them to see the world with more compassion and ultimately prevent the spread of gender-based violence.

Senior Safety educates seniors and caregivers on the types of elder abuse, how to identify the warning signs for each type, and how to reduce risk and prevent elder abuse. The training also provides information on the three most common types of theft—monetary, identity, and home— that afflict seniors and teaches them how to reduce their risk of becoming a victim. Lastly, seniors and caregivers will learn about the specific reasons why seniors do not disclose or report their abuse, and they will be provided community resources that help victims of elder abuse, assault or theft.
